    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    Today is going to be stressful. They’re finally moving my dad out of the hospital to a personal care home. This whole process have been really eye-opening. I’m worried he’s going to hate it.

      Sometimes being in an assisted living facility is necessary. My son’s wife and her mother had to place her grandfather in one simply due to the mother not being able to care for him any more. Throw in around the clock care at home is costly and the caregivers are iffy, and it’s a bad situation all over.

      Thanks everyone. I just feel so bad for him. He’s been through so much. My mom died 6 years ago. Then he had a stroke 2 years ago. And now he has bone cancer. That’s why he is going into the home. He needs 24/7 care because he’s so weak and he falls. It’s all crap.

    Have a meeting this afternoon with my bowling league executive committee to consider expanding. We already fill one alley (32 of 36 lanes) and we’ve been approached by the other alley in town to start and manage one there.

    We have to look at growing the E/C, changing the association bylaws, recruiting new league officers, opening a new bank account, and more.

    Exactly how I was worried it would go for a year now. One year ago today I found my mother dead and since I already have issues with depression I was afraid of how I would react, I am going from the lowest of lows to the highest of highs. Luckily my wife understands what's happening and does not freak out when the lows hit and knows how to deal with the highs knowing the crash is coming. Right now I am leveled off so I am trying to get some work done on the design for the sub enclosure for her car to keep my mind away from having to see all of my moms things still in the living room in boxes.

    I woke up this morning to a sick dog. She hasn’t eaten or drank since yesterday and she won’t even eat a piece of cheese, which is her favourite. I’m taking her to the vet soon :(

    I woke up, found my pants after 30 mins of searching figured out where i was i couldn't find my shirt tho, but i did find my keys! Got the truck warmed up got home took a shower went out for cheese burgers with fries now I'm home relaxing, toking and listening to music. :)

    There were absolutely no bad developments to get in the way of my day's 'okayness'. But I was pretty happy when I started working on a blog post for a very influential site - I've kept it in my sights because it was due next Friday. Something for this site - like articles for magazines, cannot be like my standard website blogs - like, find a topic, add keywords for SEO and glorify my company (blah blah blah)... They have to be a big 'cut above'.

    So I got into it, and before I realized it, I was finished! Met all the criteria and quality the external website required, and I was very happy with it.
